Governor McAuliffe -- Virginia Needs Redistricting Reform!

No state should have its districting process controlled but elected officials... that's just my opinion

Lets have the courage to make these changes.

Please act quickly!

On a personal note, I would be on a citizen's redistricting panel in a second if one was ever approved!!! Sounds truly fun!!

Please help us establish and independent, nonpartisan commission to create fair districts that will ensure representational democracy in Virginia.

It's so important to the future of our democracy that citizens choose their representatives in competitive elections. Gerrymandering dilutes citizens' rights to fair representation and promotes candidates that have to appeal to a small minority.

Why do some politicians feel they need to rig the elections when they run for office? Why are they afraid of competitive elections?

Freedom Caucus candidates run unapposed with districts drawn as they are now? What is the point in voting when the die has already been cast?

The voters should pick the politicians, not the other way around.

Stop the gerrymandering and go with county lines or zip codes.

This is long, long overdue

The sooner the better.

This is one of the most important issues facing us in VA and in the United States. It is vitally important to end gerrymandering, end partisan gridlock and preserve our democracy.

Both parties need to come together on this if we are going to start electing representatives who will work with each other to find common ground

The people of this great state want fair and equitable representation. We need commonsense legislative reform to address this complex issue.

Virginia needs re-districting reform. It's time the power to elect our legislators is given back to the people. Please support this.
