The passing of this would go a long ways towards restoring maines hunting heritage and keeping kids out of questionable activities.

Great Idea , There are enough restrictions on hunt , espcially Washington county ,No doe permits ,and only open week during Muzzleloader

I work Monday-Saturday. I buy a combo hunting-fishing license every year. I can fish on Sundays,but can't hunt on Sundays. At the very least,make it allowable in more rural pockets. Maine is losing a lot of hunters/tourism dollars because of this foolish law.

I agree having this option should be available to all . The season is so short that a person working m-f may not bother to hunt because of limited time in the woods . I gave up turkey hunting when you had 1saturday to hunt and only could take 1bird it just wasn't worth it . In this day and age if adults don't have time to hunt many young adults will never step in the woods . This is bad for everyone . This one topic alone should make people think twice and allow hunting on Sunday .

Sunday hunting for residents only, we have to work all week and not allowing Sunday hunting only allows us to hunt 4 days a year.

We have to pay for the license to hunt, we should be able to use it whenever we have free time during the entire hunting season in Maine.
