We Demand That Orange County Mayor Jerry Demings Rescind His Unlawful Facial Covering Orders

Whereas, Governor Ron DeSantis has precluded individuals from being subjected to fines and jail sentences regarding local mask mandates and so-called lockdown orders; and
Whereas, Orange County Mayor Jerry L. Demings has unilaterally written Executive Orders 2020-51 /2020-25 a/k/a the mask mandates, imposing fines on local businesses and hardships on employers, employees and customers alike; and
Whereas, Executive Order 2020-51 / 2020-25 are more aligned with the actions of a tyrant than of the legislative process of, by and for the people; and
Whereas, this medical tyranny has no place in a free society; and
Whereas, the people of Orange County DO NOT consent to the dictates of one man imposing the wearing of masks and “face coverings” on local businesses and individuals,
Therefore, We The People, living on the land lawfully and formally petition Orange County Mayor Jerry L. Demings to recognize the health freedoms of Orange County Citizens and to rescind EO 2020-51 and EO 2020-25 which are blatant infringements on the rights and freedoms of We The People; and
Therefore, We The People, living on the land lawfully and formally petition Governor Ron DeSantis to take similar action as his previous order, which protects individuals from local government overreach, this time on behalf of business owners, employers and employees who are being subjected to fines and intimidation from Orange County Mayor Jerry L. Demings; or to simply END THE STATE OF EMERGENCY that Mayor Demings is using to justify his abuse of power.

Jerry Demings is still hiding behind his executive orders while local businesses pay the price for his arrogance. I am spending my time bringing these signatures directly to the offices of those who refuse to listen. Keep the pressure on this bureaucrat until he finally respects our basic rights.

I oppose mask mandates and advocate for mask choice. Mask cause me health issues but I am forced to wear them to provide for my family. Demings is a hypocrite and horrible politician
These orders, not laws, are breaking and violating our constitutional rights. We have had enough. How long is this “15 days to slow the spread” honestly going to go on. Most of us are not going to take this much longer.
Whereas Covid 19 has a 99% SURVIVAL RATE for most demographic groups, and Whereas the focus should be about legitimately diagnosed deaths not cases, and Whereas Covid 19 has been politicized and is a vehicle for power-seeking politicians to exercise arbitrary control over their dominion.
I have chosen to spend my money outside of Orange county due to these ridiculous orders. All they are doing is killing small businesses. I’ll go elsewhere.
Rescind these unlawful mask mandates. WE THE PEOPLE are taking back our rights to make choices about our own bodies. Stop penalizing businesses, this is not your job or your right. You have overstepped.
Let’s end the tyrant control and put someone in for freedom
Keeping your face covered with a toxin catcher only gives you rotten teeth more bacteria in your mouth and lungs and does not let you get enough oxygen to your brain anyone who knows anything about health and safety would never allow someone to put a diaper on their face especially if they’re a child.

I wrote OC Board of County Commissars in August to stop with the dictatorial mandates on free adult citizens. Crickets. Stop the useless mask mandate! Everyone I know who got the virus was a mask wearer.
