I have been living on East Monponsett since 2002 and have seen it get worse and worse each year. Last year we lost the whole summer for pond recreation on the "good" side due to bacteria.

Please help our community and town of Halifax clean up the deplorable condition of our lake which directly affects the quality of our drinking water. This situation has been going on far too long. We need your help. Thank you.

Please do something to improve the water quality at w. Monponsett Pond in Halifax. I don't live on the Pond, but I drive by there frequently and it is disgusting.

I am a resident of the area and I use my boat and jetski at this location.I also go fishing there alot, almost every weekend. And now I can't and no one is doing anything. About ,this. The other side to my pond and perfect..... but as you can tell in the pic there is a huge difference. I use this pond to go swimming in during the hot days as summer gets hot because I don't have a pool .... I really hope they fix this issues and we can get back to normal.

I bought my HUD , foreclosure house near the west lake because it was near a beach where I planned on swimming every day possible. I have several health problems and swimming is extremely important to me. Despite my research, I did not find out about the lakes being toxic until after I had spent my life's savings on this tiny, run down house. It's a crying shame that this has gone on for so long......when there is a simple cure to the problem. Please tell Brockton to stop creating this toxic mess!
