This company is a fraudulent joke. I'd be better off from a speed and reliability standpoint if I had dial up.

Can't even watch a 30 second video properly, even email stalls. Their prices went up by 10 dollars a month recently and are then going to go up again to include usage come 2016 fall. There is nowhere else to go and they know it. Living out in the boonies and they are just sucking us dry. Where is the government in all of this? Handing out more money to them. They should be checking their income, it must be unbelievable.

They told me when I wanted to sign up that I could play games on computer and watch Netflix. After I signed a 2 year contract and couldn't play games or watch Netflix. They said yes you can play games just not on Internet. And they laughed about Netflix the tech support said it would cost a fortune to try to watch Netflix. Then when my modem stopped working they said new modem is free but I have to pay the tech person 120 dollars to drive 15 minutes to bring me another one.

Service degrades monthly cannot even connect to do emails quite often.

to make it plain and simple Xplornet just lie to you and jerk you around with their lies,no competition in rural areas and they know,so you either suck it up or use dialup. Big choice

Xplornet advertised LTE speed "up to 25Mbps" download.
Off peak speed from about 00h00 to 19h00 - between 9Mbps and 25Mbps, average 13Mbps.
On peak (most people home) speed from about 19h00 to 00h00 - between 600Kbps and 3Mbps with an average of 1.2Mbps.
Latency between 79ms and 150ms.
My conclusion: their advertisement is a lie to you to get you hooked on that one year $99/month contract.
Please put an end to this Xplornet madness and give the govt subsidies to companies who can build a real network like Axia, www.axia.com.

I am new to xplornet and hate it. there is a new provider out there some may be able to get called OmniTEC. One of the things I have noticed about Canadians is they seem to be intent on getting screwed by companies of all kinds. Maybe its time for us to stand up and quit accepting these lousy products such as Xplornet. I am so sick and tired of getting screwed over as our elected government representatives line their pockets from these companies so they can continue to screw us. Its time to say enough and we need to say it loud and clear

Paying for 10MB of speed and barely get 1 MB ... 10% of service promised should only have to pay 10% of bill... Cant cancel service without paying yet again for something I do not get

Should not be giving this company taxpayer money. They are very incompetent on service delivery. Is being sold as streaming service and we can't even do online banking in the evenings!

I have been a 8 month battle with Xplornet just to get service... albeit slow service! The salesman promised we could get service to my location. I had a shitty installation done at my expense (almost $1000), and then 6 months later I had to have it redone, with a larger tower (another $1000) . All I want is to be reimbursed for the first tower, not to mention the hours of my time spent on the phone, explaining and re-explaining to various customer service agents, hours spent on hold, and all the money I have had to spend to go sit in cafés and use wi-fi since I work from home...

I'm soooo happy you started this. You should put the date that this was started on here somewhere so it will be apparent how quickly it picks up speed. They have a class action lawsuit building and they know its coming. They are scrambling to purchase frequencies from the feds in the last spectrum auction so they can appear to fix their broken system. They can't support the customers they have and they don't have the bandwidth for everyone so what value is there in buying another channel of communication to the clients when you don't have anything to offer them!?!!!??? If you take a 25MB link and share it between 25,000 customers, what difference does it make how fast or by what means you get the internet to your client if you don't have the initial uplink speed and bandwidth to share out to them?!?! Pony up and get with the times. The CRTC is gonna come a'knockin with a big fat penalty!

Its FRAUD that they try to sell this product that is simply massively oversold when they clearly don't have the bandwidth to support their clients.

The most unreliable service I've ever seen. They do not provide anything they say they can. They should be stopped from selling a product which clearly is crap!
