many complaints was told no rental fees and am getting charged , they were sending a service guy to fix my system , 2 years nobody has showed up yet.

Have had Xplornet for years, and despite paying 100$ a month I have to fill out this petition using my phone because my internet is downloading at about 1 KB/s right now.

Xplornet is painful! I upgraded my package recently thinking that I would speed over 5mbps with a 25 mbps plan. Well sure was mistaken!! So bad can't even check my email in the evenings!! So mad at myself for getting into a 2 year contract with this ISP

They know they have a monopoly on the rural satellites, and they have every intent on taking full advantage of that. Less than dial-up connection (when promised "up to" 5Mbps), high prices, and low data allowance. Con artists disguised as a communications company. Why data so expensive with Xplornet satellites, when other 4G/LTE companies can sell with higher caps for a much lower price. 25GB for $60? May as well go to an internet cafe every day. You're paying close to the same amount and you can at least use their connection as much as you want to.

I don't understand how this compnay stays in business! Been with them for ten years and the internet just keeps getting slower and slower. People here have complained about download speeds of 1Mbps, I'd love it if mine were that fast! Unfortunately those of us that use them have no choice. Well it turns out I do, I'm spending $3,000 and buildong a 60' tower to go with a different provider. It will be worth it just to be able to tell Xplornet to stick it!

They just throttled my service after I told them I was moving out, I have video proof, speed tests, login fails, ISP Phone fails and errors all from them throttling my service......it was done on Thursday, I called Friday just befroe close and they couldnt take throttle off all weekend. I want a lawyer to help or Join another lawsuit in progress and do joint law suit

No legislation or law protecting consumers from private isp and overselling their towers,an this isp needs to be thrown in the slammer.xplornet is the worst isp and thanks to the government the only player in rural internet

XPlornet constantly oversubscribe their towers. I never get anywhere near the 10Mb I pay for (typically closer to 1Mb). Even at 3am I only got 5Mb. They try to say its signal strength but I've had mine checked and its fine. If i had any choice I would leave them immediately.

I've been ripped off enough by this so called Internet provider they have breached their own contracts. Get your lawyers xplornet!

These guys are abusing customers knowing they have nowhere else to turn.
Oh, and the UP TO _Mbps. If you ever reach your up to speed or get close to it, I'd say your luckier than most.

Xplornet has not delivered on service promised ....it is deliberate and it IS FRAUD !!! how is this not illegal

download speeds .018 by their own technicians measurements. Can't do email or browse at all and they tell me they know the system is congested they are working on it, maybe in 6 months I will have internet. In the meantime they won't cancel my account. It is a ripoff, a scam. Get dial up it is faster and more reliable

Sick of not having reasonable internet. If I can get a wireless connection for a tablet, that works better than any internet service I've had in the past or available to me now, why can't I have a wireless service that provides me with more data than a pathetic 5GB per month?
Sick of being told by all companies that provide reasonable internet that I'm just outside their area. It's ridiculous that I have to literally move from my beloved farm if I want the same internet service that everyone I know has.
The millions the government gave to insure all Ontarians had assess to high speed inexpensive internet was seriously abused and misused. Wake up Canadian Government!

Overpriced unfit connection 800ms random up and download speeds, weather plays a roll and with low data plans ! people are paying good money for this service and alot of people dont realize the big downs to this service
