Small fitness studios with one on one training and small group training are a very safe environment. Especially yoga and pilates that are not cardio oriented

I only participate in private 1-1 Pilates instruction. Wear a mask throughout, and the facility is large enough to maintain social distance at all times. My trainer sanitizes equipment immediately after use. All guidelines have been met and members are complying. Please for my well-being open up boutique fitness centers.

The people of Minnesota need the benefits of what these small boutique businesses offer - now more than ever. Please allow these primarily women-owned businesses to re-open and fulfill their mission to your community.

Small fitness boutique offering one-on-one private session with masks and cleaning protocols is not any different and potentially safer than personal care appointments and they are allowed to stay open. Our private training services could be the example of what is low risk, proactive and acceptable during these times.

I totally agree that this type of business should be allowed to be open.

One-on-one training should be considered in a different category than "gyms." There are but two of us in our studio of 3500 square feet. It is imperative that we open...now!

Our Small studios are open very safely. With 10 foot squares for social distancing and mandatory masks.
Please open

Small gyms with by appt only are very different than big box gyms. They shouldn’t be grouped together.

It is essential that these small fitness boutiques be allowed to remain open. There isn’t a safer environment right now for those of us who want to maintain our healthy lifestyles.

Gov. Walz, thank you for leading and listening. Locally owned independent yoga studios, most owned and managed by women, bring calm and compassion to many thousands of Minnesotans. We trust you can see that Lifetime asking for 10% capacity and 12-feet social distancing is occurring because it knows it will keep Lifetime alive in all that space and put the rest of us out of business.
