When we lived in Chudleigh TUFC looked after the local children really well - regular visits to the schools and free tickets to their league games - really deserve to survive.

I went to school next to Plainmoor and I played in several youth cup finals there in the early 90's. Whenever I come back to the bay i always try and get a game in.

I urge the Council not to discard the safeguard they have in put in place by retaining the ownership of the ground, for the good of the community. The club should be here long after any ownership group has departed!

The ground is part of Torquay United. Part of their history. It oozes atmosphere. Not to be destroyed at any cost.
