A football club is a focal point for most communities. Its not just about the money!!

The council should see selling the freehold threatens the Asset of Community Value and reject the offer. They are currently deriving an income from it, so it's providing financial as well as community benefit.

It's about time someone got there finger out of there a#*e and started to look at our lower league clubs and assist them. More money should be cascaded down from the higher leagues to help clubs. Good luck Torquay. Wycombe wanderers fan.

Take back control. This is a fight we must win. Save Plainmoor.

I don't follow football but feel strongly about this and I support the people who do. Plainmoor Football Field has been there as long as I can remember.

I think that Torquay United has been sold down the river with these new owners and that they should stay where they are they have every thing they need there, plus a nice new stand, if they move all they will end up with is a basic ground and a shed

Freehold of Plainmoor should not be sold to stadium developers for private profit. TUFC is a community asset which needs to be protected.

I'm a Plymouth argyle fan and I know how it feels to almost lose your club so I'm signing this petition to try and do my bit.

Dear Mr. Oliver, Please make sure that the freehold on Plainmoor is not handed over or sold to the new owners GI. Plainmoor should continue to be the home of Torquay United FC and not to lots of new house buyers! Yours sincerely, David Boyle PS. I have followed / supported the club for 46 years, albeit the last 39 from afar.

Torquay United have been playing at Plainmoor for years, there are bowling clubs etc using the facilities where would they all go? Keep it as a football ground not another housing estate, If it's not broke why try to change it
