Represent the community you serve Mr Oliver, do not feed corporate greed. Please do not sign the clubs death warrant. I've been to Plainmoor a couple of times now and like many others stayed in the bay over the weekend, Great place, great fans, they deserve a great Mayor. That needs to be you. Kevin - Reading fan and holidaymaker.

I remember what happened to Bristol Rovers' traditional Eastville Stadium home - don't allow GI to do the same to Plainmoor.

Had a great day out at Plainmoor with FCUM in the FA Trophy. Friendly welcome from a great set of fans. Good luck and hope things work out

Keep football in it's rightful home. Don't give in to brown paper bags full of cash. Football history not council tax income!

I am a member of a club whose owner decided to sell the land and promised a new ground. Naturally, the new ground never materialized and eventually the club went into liquidation, after the owner had pocketed the millions from the sale of the ground for housing. A new club was formed and spent the first 10 years groundsharing before getting a new home again. Don't let history repeat itself.

Modern football stinks

Once the vulture flies the carcass, all that's left is history: no joy, no sadness, no highs, no lows - no life, no soul. Personal profit before community is always the triumph of cynicism over hope, and 'the hope' is what has kept Torquay United going for over a century. Don't give it up. Please sign and share.

I have been following TUFC since 1987. Born and bred in Liverpool I have been travelling to games all over the north of England and occasionally the south to watch the Gulls for 30 years. Please do not sell out in the name of greed. G. I. OUT!

What ever deal is reached it has to be properly watertight ensuring that ownership of plainmoor is only signed over on completion of any new home and future protection ensured

I'm a Northampton fan and we were in a very different but equally perilous situation last season which thankful has turned in our favour. But I empathize with the fans of any football club where the best interests of the club, fans and community are ignored by profiteering and/or incompetent, short-sighted governance. Sadly, Torquay provides yet another example of, ultimately, the FA being unfit for purpose by allowing things to get this far without the stability of the football club being the primary consideration. Good luck, Torquay, sincerely.

Not just about the Premier League. Every club has a history, have fans who care, Torquay to stay at Plainmoor. Good luck from Halesowen Town F.C Northern Premier League.
