Gopher Tortoise License Plate

I am very happy about the prospect of this tag!

I love gopher tortoises, and have worked in both conservation efforts and relocation efforts for this keystone species. I would love to be able to purchase a license plate that would fund conservation to this species. They are an important part of Florida, and should be just as iconic as the alligator, in my opinion.

Time to bring awareness to the importance of this keystone species to preserving the environment that makes Florida unique and beautiful!

Using a vanity plate to generate recurring funds for the tortoise is a fantastic idea. And the plate would reach such a large audience!

This animal is declining in numbers, and as a keystone species, this should not be allowed to happen. License plates will raise money for land the animals need and will raise awareness.
