The momentum behind this push proves Las Cruces is sick of being held hostage by overpriced and unreliable internet providers. Google needs to stop dragging its feet and acknowledge that this city is ready for a real upgrade right now.

Please!!!! We have horrible internet providers and monopolies here! Fiber would be /fantastic/ to have!
Please add student and as people who use the internet for research Comcast and the other Internet service are terrible.
Perfect fit ... small university town with tons of potential to attract talent and help grow the city

Much needed. I pay premium for Qwest internet, but get only 3-4Mbps. Ridiculous. This competition must be introduced.
