The scale of this response is sufficient to move the conversation forward with local council members. I am currently drafting a formal proposal to present these findings to the municipal offices next week.

Please we need fiber in Amarillo, Tx. We need some price & quaility competition with suddenlink cable.
Bring it here! We already have a ton of blacm fiber. Suddenlink is great, but they are the only major in town provider for Internet. One word, competition.
Amarillo, tx seriously needs some better options for internet. One that works and has some speed to it. They are still behind the times and the public is suffering.
We need it in the surrounding area as well. All we have just one mile outside the city limits is crap wireless.
This would be great in Amarillo. The ISPs in the area aren't worth the money for the speeds and the customer service. Amarillo needs to have a better option. Sudden link has monopolized and its time to show them a better product :)
We need it now
For the price and speed of service, google fiber would have no competition here.

Ive wanted Google fiber here in Amarillo tx since they first announced it back around 2010.
