This petition is restore the former system of good time allowances toward services of federal prision terms. The bill would reduce the sentence of people in frederal prisions by increasing the "Good Time" credit they would receive and save US taxe payers more than 2 Billion dollars per year. To keep non vilolent offenders incarcerated it cost the U.S tax payers 2 billion dollars a year, which breaks down to $40,000 per prisioner per year. If this bill is passed it will only apply to NON VIOLENT offenders.
