If the proposed site was a local Oakland business with normal business hours (12pm -1am) I would be more inclined to support this, but as such I think this business would be more negative to the community.

I don't want this facility in the neighborhood. It's too close to thunder Road treatment center and would cause even more parking problems in the neighborhood.

As a member of the Oakland beer community (employee of both the Hog's Apothecary and Temescal Brewing), I embrace competition from new, local businesses. Golden Road is not a friendly local business. ABI has a history of foul business practices, and they will actively hurt the community.

There is too much congestion & parking issues, noise & alcohol in this area. Downtown Toyota already causes enough issues with cars & traffic & blocking lanes of traffic & a lot of crazy drivers trying to use Toyota facility in this area. Traffic on Broadway in this area is bad enough with Downtown Toyota, Kaiser etc using up parking on the neighborhoods.

The City of Oakland and the Land Use and Housing Committee should be supporting the MYRIAD of small business owners who want to support their city by opening beer gardens, not giant corporations who couldn't care less about how their proposed project will impact the neighborhood, local economy, or mom-and-pop business owners.

We absolutely DO NOT need this. There are plenty of small craft brewers and beer gardens in Oakland who are much better than this will ever be. Also, Bigger is NOT better!

We need to keep local business thriving in Temescal, not encourage Anheiser Busch. There are 4 or 5 other places within a block for drinking. Let's also keep Temescal family friendly and not make it a party destination.

This is a disastrous idea. Parking is already impossible in our neighborhood. The idea that we would allow a multinational corporation to build a massive alcohol manufacturing facility right in the middle of a thriving neighborhood is so short sighted as to be almost criminal. The smell of alcohol processing, the 2am closing hour, the drunk patrons spilling out into the street, the existing and soon to be exacerbated difficulty finding parking, large truck deliveries to the brewery and many more concerns make this a terrible fit for our neighborhood. This proposed development is entirely out of scale and out of character with the unique atmosphere of the Temescal. Please listen to the concerns of your constituents and stop this development.

I think an open-air bar/restaurant is a horrible idea here. I live 2 blocks from he site. The noise is going to be ridiculous. Build an actual building if you want to open here! The parking here is already very tight. This will do NOTHING to build our neighborhood. I would wave an open mind about a locally-owned operation, but being asked to put up with all this to support a corporation that has no concern for our neighborhood? NO. Please do not let this go forward.
