It's his first born son. Let him take the first name and you take the middle name. If you have a 2nd child, you get to pick the first name.

It's Greek tradition and I thoroughly understand Nicholas' passion regarding this issue. Naming after your parents to honour them is entrenched in us. My friends named their children Odysseus, Socrates and Trifonas for this same reason. I live in Canada, I'm a teacher and I see all kinds of names all the time. I've had students named Arman, Igor, Artem and Vadim and not once did I consider them "barbaric" as pointed out in the description of this petition.

Let the next son have his mum's dad's name, but Spyridon for the first son. I hope you have all girls though!

Screw it. Just name him Thor. No last names or middle names. Just Thor.

I love unusual names. My Daughters name is Dreama and my sons middle name is Destyn. It is unique and they love their names being uncommon.

If they didn't need anyone's help naming their child, why did they set up this ridiculous website?

The fact that you made a mistake doesn't mean someone else should.

Amen. These two people shouldn't be allowed to reproduce and keep the baby.
