the kid will grow up hating him..not talk to him..and pay the courts $12 grand to change his name...my birthmom named me zovira..i wont have anything to do with her she cant even see my kids because of the fights we had over that horrid name..when it came to blows and she slapped me in front of my toddlers..that was it..by two kids are in their late 20s now and they still have nothing to do with her...IF YOU NAME YOUR SON AFTER A GODFATHER OF SPIDERS..I PRAY YOUR SON DISOWNS YOU TOO...too bad he will also pay through the nose to have his name legally changed...i hope...to michael...out of respect for his loving mother

At first I was against letting dad use this name since it was unusual to me and sounded strange but after reading why dad wants so badly to use this name and reading that he is willing to let mom give baby any middle name she chooses and he forfeits the right to name the baby at all if its a girl and gives all naming rights for second son to mom i think she should give him this one. i wish i had that option when naming my kids. i would have named my first sons first name anything hen

The one who carries the child for 9 months, then delivers the child gets first name choice and a really nice piece of jewelry. The other person gets to choose the middle name as long as the one who delivers the child likes the name.

It is your wife who is caring the child so it is your wife who gets first name choice. The husband gets middle name choice as long as the wife likes the name.

I'm Greek too & know the baby naming traditions. If it's the first born son, name him after the father's father. If it's the 2nd born son, name him after the mother's father.

Pick a name your kid won't take crap at school over. I agree with those who suggested Michael Spyridon- it honors both parents while not creating awkward situations for him in the future because nobody knows how to say his name.
