Michael. Give the child one name they people CAN pronounce. Make Spyridion the middle name. Imagine this child completing his SAT testing. Just the name alone will require a full #2 pencil. God Bless the little guy whatever his name may be.

A more common name would be better than one that is not easy to recognize.

OOps- I didn't vote earlier because I was taken away from the page to register first- so here is my official choice of names. Spyridon is a variant of the honorable and ancient Greek name Spyros/ Spyro- Lots of charming and famous people have/had that name. It is a good name. I think the variation you choose- Spyridon- is too dated and cumbersome. Use one of the classier variations and the kid will thrive- no complexes or funny nicknames in school.. By the way I hope he is handsome, healthy, intelligent, and has a sense of humor. He'll need it in a family like this! Mozoltov.

By all means. If necessary for ease of social integration, Spyridon may be diminished to either Spiro or Don, or the child may "go by" his middle name and shorten the first name to just S for signatures.

Spyridon is an impressive name and should be honored. As the father he should be allowed to name his first born son. The mother has already been given rights to literally every other name for any future children, including the first born male's middle name.
Please name him Michael.
"Son" or "Daughter"
Michael Spyridon, it honors both families.
