Spyridon sounds good to me. She should compromise and have Michael be his middle name. If you have an agreement about who names which babies, she should honor that!

Spyridon Michael. If he doesn't appreciate his amazing first name, he can use his middle name. My daughter has an uncommon in the US first name, and for a time (middle school) she used her more common middle name. Now in high school it is her unusual first name that she prefers. Dare to be different!!!!!

I think Michael would be a good middle name with spyridonas the first name. Especially since he is giving you all naming rights to all the future kids! It's your first born and a boy, let your husband keep his father name going it shows how family orientated you are! And kids will be kids don't worry about teasing everyone these days is looking for a unique name instead of a name 20 other kids have in that grade. Teach him to be proud of it! Congratulations!!

I love non traditional names. The only traditional name is my son's first name Isaac but his middle name is non traditional. My girls are Jeorjianna, Jana and Jazlyn (our youngest middle name after me; if she would have been a boy she would have been named after my husband, his dad and grandfather which would have been Russell) Isaac's middle name is Brayden. Go with non traditional he will stand out. Our last name in our area is unique so we stand out.
