You child is unique - don't saddle him with one of the most common names around. He is Greek! He should stand out from the crowd and not be like everyone else! ;)

Michael for first name, spyridon as the middle name. Mom's body, moms decision

I disagree with the wife's points. Kids are receiving all kinds of old-fashioned, unusual, and ethnic names now. However, I think Michael Spyridon would work well too. It flows better, and chances are the child will be called Michael either way. It is a pain legally to use your middle name as your first. My son-in-law wanted their son named Silas after his middle name, and grandfather's first name and my daughter was fine with it. They gave him two middle names though; one after her dad and one after his.

Michaeil as the first and Spyridon as middle. Don't saddle your child with an ethnic sounding name.Maybe when is 50 years old, he would appreciate such a name but not as a child.

I have the easiest name in the world. Kim. And still people find ways to mess it up. "Kimberly?" They ask? No, I answer, it's Kim, as in KIM NOVAK, the famous actress. The beautiful bombshell of the 1950's, that my dad was in love with. Name your child Spyridon, OWN that name, and he will be a proud grandson with a proud lineage.

Go with your traditions. I vote Spyridon. Y'alls kid will never be confused with another kid of the same name in school.

i read about this on Metro.co.uk, i think as its a religious tradition if the first born son is a boy then Kseniya should go with that tradition! She would've known about it when she got married after all. And i think naming the second born child whether its a girl or a boy and having the choice of middle name is more than fair.

A deal is a deal, it's a male and she has dibs on the next one and the middle name of the first one. Also the original bet was 100 votes and now it's changed to 100,000 which isn't fair either. He already won fair and square!

I say go with Michael Spyridon. kids can be so cruel to other children with ethnic names. ames
