Love the name Spyridon! Chelsea was an unusual name when I was young & not many people had heard about it, but now, I'm very grateful that it's different...not Jamie or Sarah...or Michael. : )

Spyridon is wonderfully different. I prefer archaic names. Tried to name my nephew Odysseus, but they chose Calvin...... How do you pronounce Spyridon?

Come onnn, Michael is way too common. I like Spyridon, though you should probably come up with a good nickname to convince your wife. -Best wishes to all three of you!

Man, I've no idea what lies your wife has fed you, but Spyridon is a very well-liked name in Russia. Do your homework, before you embarrass us all with your plebeian displays of Greek pride :)

My son was given an ethnic name and never had any problems. Instead it kind of made him known during his school days. Also gave hima a freeling of being alittle special.

It's a shame the wife isn't a woman of her word. First it's 100 then she changed it to 100,000? Trust factor decreasing.
