Spyridon is an unusual name but it sounds good and has a history, which is wonderful. Tradition is something that should be upheld, as we don't have enough of that in today's society. It's certainly better than the made-up names of today's culture!!

It is Greek custom to name the first male child after the paternal grandfather. He won't be called "Spyridon" by anyone other than his immediate family. His friends will call him Spiro
