as a typical American, the sound of Spyridon is very pleasing to my ear. Michael was an archangel yes, but has been over used in the century after century. Culturally, you should let your husband win this one battle. It would be a slap in his fathers face to seem so disrespectful. Sorry Michael is a wonderful middle name though.

Name of first child is always from the fathers side with few exceptions. Both are Greek names so it is okay. What are the options for names if the baby is a girl?! That is also important rather than just arguing the name of a boy.
