While at first the name Spyidon was not appealing I do see after reading the article how important your tradistion is. So I vote for Spyridon...:) Just agree to nickname him something that is pleasing to you both..

Nicholas has a point about naming his child. It's a tradition and that means something. His wife wants an ordinary name taht does.t havin a tradtion. She can name their second child.

This is his heritage.This is his identity card for life.SPIRIDON.Its a cool name and you can call him Spiro.I named my Sons their Greek names Giorgio & Dimitri.They are glad I did.He will not be happy with Mom when he is older ..There are no Michaels in all of Greece.
Spyridon... Go with the tradition... Kseniya, don't be ashamed of it...Nicholas, you need to establish that you are the man of the house now or you will set the pattern for your marriage that your wife runs everything.
