Family names mean so much! Our daughter & myself share the same middle name (different spellings), which was handed down to me as a nod to my mother (a variation of her first name). I hope & pray my daughter carries on the tradition with her daughter. Best of luck to you!

It does not make sense to name a child Michael .. Nothing unique or special .. The name Michael is way over used! Maybe you could use Michael as a middle name?
