These games create less noise than children happily playing and shrieking outdoors. Adults are keeping active playing a game they love and harming no one. Just because the games can't be spontaneous like neighborhood kids playing and have to be scheduled around adults' schedules shouldn't be reason to ban them. We should be encouraging neighbors to get out, get active and create a sense of community. Please let the Hess family continue to play ball !

My brother played in this league and absolutely loved it!! Great way to stay active, have fun and meet new people!

This is absolutely absurd. Your backyard is just that YOURS! Let them play. They pay taxes just like everyone else. It is their property and they should be able to do whatever they want on it.

Property owners should be allowed to play sports on their own property. After all, it is their own property. The complaint of one neighbor does not change that fact. A wiffel ball field is not a public hazard nor a nuisance. Neither is a basketball court. The town of Glenville has no business involving itself with this matter.

shame people can't have friends over and play outside. Many rural people embrace the outdoors and activities outside. Certainly not a way to welcome new people into the neighborhood.
Hope real estate personnel inform new residents, and the town should have a notice to all real estates to please inform new folks they can't have activities outside.
