- Recently the Glenbrook Board of Education has decided to consider change to the traditional calendar to a new collegiate calendar which begins in mid August and ends in late May. Final exams will now be held before winter break condensing the stress that students will feel during that time, and robbing students of the opportunity to study for finals over their 2 week break. In addition in the summer leading to the schedule change for the 2019-2020 school year, students will lose approximately 2 weeks of their normal summer length. Other school activities such as sports, choir, band, and other school clubs may also be affected by this change. In addition many summer activities such as job opportunities and summer camps may be affected. Please sign this petition if you are opposed to the change of the Glenbrook School schedule.
