I was just looking at the count and we are almost at 500 signatures which feels like a real step forward even if my own kitchen is currently overflowing with empty jars waiting for a bin that actually takes them. If everyone here could get just one other person to add their name right now we would blast right past that milestone before the day is out.

I just looked at the screen and saw the number one hundred staring back at me which felt pretty surreal honestly because I really thought this would just be me and maybe my neighbor. It is wild to think about all those glass bottles piling up in so many different kitchens across the city right now waiting for a bin that actually works for us.

I was just looking at the count and we are almost at one hundred which is wild because I really thought people would just ignore this but maybe they actually care about the landfills and the glass bottles taking up space in their houses after all! Can you get just one person to sign before we hit that milestone because honestly I want to see this move faster.

HK needs glass recycling. Alternative measures, e.g. a heavy consumption tax on glass bottled consumables, are probably not politically or culturally feasible in HK. My household can recycle 5-10 bottles a week.
Every other developed nation provides recycling facilities for glass. We would recycle around 20 bottles & jars a month.
support Recycle glass in HK, Let's arouse the awareness of the HK ppl and the HK GOVERNMENT~~ without the support from government, it is hard to carry on. we can see that many residential estate have placed the recycling bins , but we will query if those rubbish really able to go to the recycle" step or just go to the landfill.
there's not enough glass recycling facilities! glass bottles are much heavier than plastic bottles, yet plastic could be recycled within metres from my house but i have to drag glass to miles away to the nearest facility! it's just so inconvenient! But I’m not giving up! Pls introduce more local recycling facilities so no one would have an excuse NOT to recycle!
