Toora Glen Glamping: We wish to start an EcoGlamping and Conservation site in Toora North on a long unused block of land zoned farming. South Gippsland Shire are hampering us at every step. If you’d like to see an increase in sustainable eco tourism coupled with sustainable organic herb farming in South Gippsland, please sign our petition today. Over regulation and too much power corrupts. People power has the ability to put the scales back in balance.

The council is still stalling but we are preparing our formal response. Your stories about the land are making a real impact.

I support any movement that is focused on growing and brining life back to the land. Gardens and fruit forests assisted by like minded tourists and locals alike would be beneficial to all. Plus a good attraction for people to visit rural areas and support local buisness/families

Considering the severe impact that farming has on the local environment, I find it backward and unjust to deny glamping on the grounds of environmental impact.

I am from Melbourne and a glamping holiday is what we have been looking for that is not to far to travel. Council need to think about tourism for Gippsland!! Good luck!!

Eco glamping is easy on the landscape, brings dollars into the area while conserving and improving the land. Government should be assisting ventures like this.

Council we know you have your job to do with all the regulation , how about offering your small business, or tourism development officer to help with the red tape. Many great fresh ideas have been hampered by this shires red tape, it’s embarrassing , especially when traveling to other areas of Victoria , seeing how progressive and initiative they are.

We have had the privilege as friends to stay in these tents and experienced glamping at Toora glen. The stay was wonderful ! This is great business for Gippsland ...
