I was 7 or 8 yrs old when I was put in Green Chimneys, This was in the early 70's. I was raped twice once by a student,And once by a grown man. And Molested several times by a large man,he tracked me like a wild animal, he'd corner me in a room and molest me only because he was to big to rape me, he tried .The second perpetrator was a pro,This took place in the barn,he gained my trust by playing with me then he led me to the loft and raped me. I've lived in fear my whole life, and have PTSD because of this. Diagnosed twice by certified psychiatrist. And there was so much more neglect and uncaring insodences by adults and children. The proposed map is a disservice to the communities of Midland and Gladwin. Citizens of these communities work together tirelessly to address common issues and spend their time working, living and doing business in and around the area. To place the city of Midland in the separate proposed district will result in a lack of representation for the community and it’s citizens.
