I have been overwhelmed by the messages you have sent me about your experiences with the board lately. It is truly humbling to see how many people care about our kids, and I am just the person who started the page while you are the ones doing the actual work of speaking up.

Something needs to be done!!! Communication is horrible, the only one that will get back to you in a timely manner is Mrs. Brittany. There is one referee that is very unprofessional, as well as others that is associated with the league. we need helpful happy faces to represent AYSO, or the numbers are going to continue to drop
its is becoming more disorganized each season, and since they have decided to combined all of spartanburg it is total ciaos. The referee we encountered this weekend had a horrible attitude!
April should not be putting her hands on anyone!
I have had many complaints about the disorganization of the league and parents who won't be returning due to this and the unfairness of the team distribution, lack of concern for the safety of our players. I, personally, am disappointed in the lack education offered to first time coaches. I was on vacation during the time the coaches meeting was scheduled. No other was offered. I've never received the coaches packet, I'm told exists, even after requesting several times. The only.board members I have met are Kelli Hicks and Fred Bertha and they were extremely helpful! I've sent several emails to our commissioner expressing interest in vacancies on the board. I think sometimes people get to comfortable in their positions and just roll with the flow. I definitely think there needs to be a change. A new excitement, energy and enthusiasm needs to be brought to our organization. The flame of desire is definitely down to a flicker and needs to be reignited!

I also expressed interest in helping with help getting schedules made, publishing important info, etc. Was never allowed to help--glad this is finally being corrected.
