Dear IMVU,
It is with great DISATISFACTION that WE the members and supporters of the LGBT community have prepared a petition in our DISAPPROVAL of your new rules and regulations for a featured room.
It is to our understanding that a Lesbian Room does not meet your new proposed rules and regulations for a featured room all due to the fact that it excludes males. YET despite that, there are still a record setting of similar rooms being featured daily. PLEASE let us understand why is it that the LGBT community is ONCE AGAIN singled out from your array of unique customers.
We come to IMVU in search of a haven from the mundane hardships of every day life in the real world. Alas when we thought we found sanctuary under your chat client, we are once against being discriminated against. We are customers of yours, IMVU. We pay as much as any other person and some more than most. Our years on IMVU also show how dedicated and loyal we are. We had many opportunities to move to a different chat client but found home in IMVU.
Why do we need a Lesbian Room / Gay Room to be featured? We ask to be featured not to flaunt our sexuality in the faces of others, but rather to attract other like-minded individuals in the hopes of forming friendship and offer guidance and advice should they be going through a difficult situation that we from the older generation may be able to provide.
In conclusion, it is with great honor that we happily submit the following names of individuals who also disagree with your new rules and regulations for a featured room. We find it discriminating and are greatly upset and hurt that what we once thought of as a safe haven is now leading us to take such action against.

Imvu used to be about freedom and now its just constant drama. bring back the featured rooms for everyone.
Stop the discrimination and let us be seen. we pay just like everyone else.
I just want a place to chill with my friends without getting hassled by the rules. Is that really too much to ask??
Total bs. plenty of other rooms get featured but God forbid we have a lesbian space. get it together.
RIDICULOUS. fix your rules imvu. double standards literally everywhere on this app.

This is honestly so unfair. Ive been on IMVU for like 6 years and it just feels like they keep targetting us for no reason. Let us have our space.
