Its not our fault if guys can't control their genitals. The school board has to check and make sure uniforms are appropriate before schools purchase them, so why can we wear them in school? And no leggings I've heard of? I'm sorry they're the only comfortable thing to wear and that they make butts bigger. You want us to dress appropriately in your eyes, the district can buy us our clothes. Not all parent can afford to buy their kids new clothes every other day. Guys can wear muscle tanks that barely cover their nipple but girls are being excluded from what we want to wear? Wow. People really know how society works. Are we in 1912?

As a previous DC cheerleader, banning the uniforms will only cause tension and attitude between administration and cheer/dance teams. Team uniforms promote school spirit. Organized sports teams cannot wear their uniform to school, but boys can still sag their pants and show their boxers. Makes sense!

They did not take away your uniforms, they are still allowing you to wear leggings underneath. Is showing your spirit not good enough? Your ass has to be about to hang out of your skirt as well? I graduated 3 years ago and they started making girls wear leggings my last year, stop being a bunch of babies

Taking away their uniforms will cause more problems. D300, you want to make a stronger system? Taking away something that mean a lot to these girls will get you no where. All that power you have right now, you will slowly loose. I would be careful in the way you're trying to deliver the message. Girls are not toys nor objects and we respect ourselves and love ourselves for the way we are. Why can't you accept that? Under those uniforms are beautiful girls who are afraid to come out their own shell and you are definitely not helping, because you make us feel unwelcomed in this society.

Being a senior at DC this year... I don't understand why this is such a big deal all of a sudden. They're just cheerleader uniforms, its no different than the football players wearing their jerseys. I feel as if the adults enforcing this are more dirty minded than the average high school boy. Stop over sexualizing teenage girls, if it distracts us guys a lot from "the learning environment", then I want scientific proof because i have no idea how I'm passing high school with straight A's. Quit living in the past century D300.

This is ridiculous. The school REQUIRES them to wear this yet they aren't allowed to wear them at school???? Because guys will get distracted??? Boo the world doesn't revolve round some teenage boys mind. Let these ladies show their pride. Cheerleaders shouldn't be shamed because of their uniforms. It's school spirit. They are part of a sport. They shouldn't be sexualized. Thats like telling the basket ball team they can wear their uniforms because it shows off their arms (or better yet, even their shoulders!

The only ones that are concerned about how we dress are the teachers , not boys. Just cause we're girls, we wear them for our selves not to impress anyone.

It makes no sense to have the uniforms banned
