Please bring back our recess. I had already made working plans for this recess. Rather push up the exam schedule so we can finish a week later.

Ample warning should be given for this form of notice as many have booked appointments, flights, ect. ahead of time in preparation for this week. Money is hard to come by, especially for students who are burdened with additional university fees, and so by claiming this recess you are (in most cases) aiding in students losing what money they have earned as most bookings are non refundable. This unconstitutional decision also seems to be a form of punishment (whether this was a concious decision or not) to those attending the university, despite not everyone being an instigator in the protests. I compel you to rethink this decision, and rather schedule the catchup time somewhere in December.

Yo the semester test schedule is gonna be deep and some of us use the Gautrain and have to spend an extra amount on ubers during the test period since there are no Gaubuses at the time we finish writing so I'd love to save up on money for a week and also catch up on work.

This is extremely unfair to those who are not part of the chaos
