University of Pretoria - Give Us Back Our October Recess

I've already booked plane tickets home that are none refundable.

The holidays is study time for me.

Please make other arrangements we need recess

We didn't strike, yet our very well deserved recess is being taken away due to a few troublemakers. It's not fair and we very much need this recess to catch up on studying since lecturers decided to place ALL the tests when the recess ends.

Give us our holiday, we deserve it. My dad is coming back from the United States and I haven't seen him for four months

This is rubbish. People who conduct these strikes don't realize the long term implications it has on themselves and others. They need to open their eyes and grow up

This has been a stressful time for our children please give them their recess

I've bought a ticket in advance to visit my family in Namibia. This is a great inconvenience.

Instead of shortening our holiday maybe get security to do something about protestors

I'm from Namibia and my flight tickets have already been payed for. It will cost my parents so much money to cancel or move the flight tickets!

October recess has been planned. Flights etc.

Please understand that I have bought bus tickets to go home, I cannot get that money back nor can I simply lose it! I need this break to just take a breather but also to work on assignments and study
