University of Pretoria - Give Us Back Our October Recess

This is not fair. I am not a Tuks student but a Wits student. You need a mental academic break. This is completely selfish of Tuks.

Not all of us are protesting. Keep that in mind.

i have already booked my flight home and am going away with my family. This was planned in July!

This is totally unfair and unacceptable for some of us who have already made arrangements to go home which is far.

I want my holiday

Instead of taking our break that we need so much, extend the academic year with a week

I have work commitments! This is utter nonsense!

Nah fam, this is unfair.

You can't schedule a recess and then add tests. People and families plan in advance.

I need my October recess as I will be with my family which I only meet twice a year.

This is very unfair because it basically means our recess is two days since Tuks only decided to suspend academic activities today only. Some of us have been waking up early and attending some classes since Monday so please WE DEMAND OUR RECESSS!!!

I have planned to work at a lodge during the vacation and already made arangements with them. I need to work these hours because for my course it is compulsory and I don't have another time to do it since it must be completed before November... I NEED the vacation!!!!

This recess is very important for us to prepare for the coming tests and our exams. Bring back our recess
