University of Pretoria - Give Us Back Our October Recess

Ye, it's going to work out quite expensive for some people...

Please don't take away our recess. We urgently need it.

Please think about international students !!! Who have already booked flights! Rather take a week out of December

flight tickets are expensive. are you going to give us back the money??

"As much as we are in full support of the Fees Must Fall campaign" .....uh no. Universities require money to operate, did you know that? If we dont pay then who will? Zuma? Hah no, he'll keep on wasting the money on other things instead. So that leaves the tax-payer....as in tax will have to increase. And I bet the EFF will strike if that happens. Where does this insanity end? Dear supporters of EFF, what will you do once you successfully burned down this university? And of course there is the whole thing of the holiday being cancelled but I personally think thats the least of our problems. If things continue like this we ain't going to have a university for long.

Give back our October holiday

Wasn't even part of this, now I'm disadvantaged

The cancellation of the recess is unfair as students had plans to take a breather from academic responsibilities. It was also a chance for EBIT students to study for the upcoming test week.

Some of us already made plans. I'm have to go home, not that I just want to but I have to. #bringbackourrecess

We need recess, its unfair

This is very unfair

Why why why. Now the good conciencious students get done in with all others.

We need recess because we have already made plans for recess. Some students booked flights and buses to go home. Having no recess will be a train smash for most people.

Please give us our study break back. All we want to is study now.

It's not fair to those who have worked hard and deserve a break.

I have bought a plane ticket.. Business Class I wanna visits my family.. It has been a tough quarter for me at tuks.. I need some comfort from my loved ones.. I live in Cape Town and home is far I don't get to see my family that often
