This falls during the CRC church conference 4-7 Oct. Many have saved up months to come to this life changing event. http://www.crc.org.za

I would prefer not to have October recess because my November exams will be now spreading till December.

The recess can not be taking away because of students protesting, the can be other arrangements made to make campuses more save and test be written like online tests!

Rather push the term up a week and shorten the December vacation than take away the one week we can truly rest this semester

Flights have been booked and paid for holidays prior to these arrangements been made.

Postponing the current test in such a way that the holidays in October are taken away is highly unacceptable. The current ongoing protests are not peaceful, nor respectful of other students, thus the legitimacy of the protest action must be questioned. I have the right to my education and it is nein taken away from me. It is unacceptable to take away my holiday. The only way i will accept taking away my holiday is if tuks refunds my aeroplane tickets and accomodation.
