This is so unfair to majority of the students in the university. There were very few of us involved in these protests. But now we will all be affected by not having a rest before exams. I dont understand how TUT and ANC members got onto the campus. Tuks should have done more to stop this. There was hardly any communication with the rest of us students besides when the varsity was finally suspended of all activities.

We have been working hard for 8 weeks now and exams are approaching. We need a break to prevent burn out. Many of us live very far away and have already booked flights.

I haven't seen my parents since July. It simply isn't fair to allow the select few students who have protested to ruin the chance for the rest of us to see our loved ones. Completely unacceptable.

I study actuarial science and have planned to study during this time off and catch up on a lot of sleep as second semester second year is very tough
It is very unconstitutional for us not to receive recess. We deserve the break before exams
