University of Pretoria - Give Us Back Our October Recess

we have not had a break since eng week 1

There are some of us who use this time of recess to study without the stress of daily classes and assignments. How about the students who arrange for week long temporary jobs in the recess just to be able to pay the expenses of studying. This is unacceptable and honestly just makes this all worse.

Bring back our recess haibo!

Have made plans and have flight tickets for that time, this is unacceptable...

I haven't been home in months and I'm looking forward to being home. My arrangements are set.

I have vacation work planned for the holiday and this happened last year as well. MPY315 requires 6 working weeks and I am already short.

This is the only time I get to see my parents until December. I have already bought flight tickets home and planned accordingly.

We should be allowed recess

There are people who live far who really want to go home and have already booked their flights. So we need this recess.

This is utter nonesense. Do not let us suffer for the disruptions.

This is really unfair towards students who only want to learn and attend classes. People plan stuff around the university schedule .. That's kind off the point of having a university schedule.... This is really unfair..

Move the exams if you want to move something

As an international student, I need to visit home and take a break from school, there are some who haven't been home since beginning of the year.
