University of Pretoria - Give Us Back Our October Recess

Vacation can't be taken away, plans were made.

I really need to see how my family is doing. I have not seen them in a while.

Our valuable study time before construction week is being taken away by a rebellious movement of people who seemingly have no intention to actually study, yet attend UP to push a political agenda whilst deliberately interfering with the academic schedule of students who actually want to study.

Test could be next week not during the recess

Come on!!!! Really? Taking my FRIKKEN recess away??? Naahh braahh

We need to rest

Punish those who deserve to be punished, and NOT everyone else!

Some students study away from home and only get to go home during recess - parents have paid for flights and arranged family holidays - not fair to do this at short notice.

Take the students that are disrupting the classes in the recess for detention!

We need a break!!!

I fully support the petition. Our recess is already taken up by studying for tests on short notice which is just as unfair.

I have scheduled my study time during recess and I am visiting loved ones, I therefore regret that I will not attend any classes or practicals during our october recess. Thank you.
