University of Pretoria - Give Us Back Our October Recess

We have other school related commitments we've already made, we have a project booked for that week and we can't afford to fail that module.

This doesn't really affect me. But I'm making a stand. Revolution

They cant take away a week for only missing 2 days ... we would rather suffer the 3 weeks before the exam

It's honestly not fair that just because other students felt the need to be disruptive and violent, it does not mean that everyone must be punished.

It is too short notice to cancel the recess, we have already planned our lives!

How are students expected to succeed with no break from July until November? Taking our holiday away is a poor attempt to solve the issue at hand. University management is questionable to say the least.

We have waited a long time to see our families

Those of us who have not taken part or do not support the violent actions of those involved, work hard during the year and deserve the breaks we get.

We have already paid for a church camp, fees paid will be forfitted if we cannot attend.

We need a break, just a breather from a tough quarter

I want my holiday please

I support this petition we deserve our recesses

Can't take away our recess already made plans and booked flights

Bring back our recess

Don't bore us please. Give us our recess!!

This is so unfair. This is not my conflict and I'm being disadvantaged

Those that have worked hard for their studies should have their break.

Dont punish the majority of good students for the unreasonable demands of a few

All good.

I have vacation work that I have to do during recess.
