University of Pretoria - Give Us Back Our October Recess

Have air tickets booked for the 3rd to fly to PE

I have to visit my parents after months you can not take away my holidays I need to visit them!

Second semester tests are right after recess. I planned on studying during recess because im swamped with assignments right now. This is completely unfair.

The university has been able to work around student protests without any changes to the scheduled recess before, surely they can do it again? They didn't think this one through properly...

Dedicated students shouldn't suffer because others enjoy disrupting.

There is a solution here that benefits all the parties. God help us find it!

Personally I planned to study in that week for the upcoming second engineering test week.

Ek dink dit is onregverdig dat studente wat hard werk so benadeel moet word deur minderheidsgroep wat vergeet het hoekom is hulle by die universiteit. Hardwerkende studente het ook rus nodig en valansie reelings is al gereel. Verwyder die wat die ontwrigting veroorsaak

I didn't agree for such activities to occur. My recess cannot be taken away from me because of the foolishness of others.

I planned to study this recess, to prepare myself for test week and subsequently the exams. Rather move recess to next week then

It is not our fault that the classes are suspended. Some of us have other responsibilities in the October recess

Already made plans and expenses!

This is unreasonable

We are going to Nabia dor a wedding and I CANNOT mis it, so I really need the vacation

I have a full time job! I made arrangements for the holiday to work and now what? I have to tell them because the university decided not to stand up to protesters I can't work? This is not how it works!!!
