It is not fair for everyone to be disadvantaged because of a few reckless people who can't behave themselves... UP should deal with them!!

My boyfriend and I have been saving up money the whole year, and have paid for our accomodation for this particular holiday. This is extremely unfair, and I won't stand for this.

It's ridiculous and unfair that we need to suffer our holiday time when we had nothing to do with the strike

I have been saving this whole year to be able to go visit a friend in Cape Town. I have already bought my plane tickets and paid for my accommodation. This money in not refundable and the dates aren't transferable

Please let the people who want to study and go to classes have the opportunity to do so. It's not fair that they suffer the consequences of other people who behave violently.

As a masters student I know I would have been working through the holiday anyway, but the fact that I could do so from home and have atleast a day or two of in the holiday was something to look forward to and is needed to reduce some of the stress of the year before the end exams, it is needed to have a short break before the end for all students to get rid of stress to be able to study optimally for the coming November exams #givebackouroctoberholiday
