How is it fair to punish the masses for the actions of a few. A good majority of Tuks students were not even there, let alone involved

I'm all for closing the University in the interests of safety for students, staff and property but it is unfair for all students to be punished by having their recess taken away. We really need the recess as a study break and to work on our RHP research proposals. Many students have saved up money to go home or away over the recess or have put deposits and paid for plane tickets. This is unacceptable. This is the last break we'll have before things get crazy with studying and exam prep. I refuse to sacrifice my recess. This is also for sanity purposes.

Yes, we want our degrees but our bodies and minds needs to refocus before exams. It's been 9 weeks since we opened in July!

We have paid for 2 student for holiday. Will you refund us? Both students are dedicated and are not supporting the strike. Why punish them??

My son is in his final year and wants to study. He wants to graduate next year. It is HIS right to graduate. He is not an opportunist thug.
