If permethrin-impregnated clothing is fine for Canadians to use overseas and for the US and Cdn militaries to use, why can`t the product be sold in Canada. In the interim, I`ll spray my clothing with a permethrin insecticide.

Health Canada, get your head out of the sand. Lyme Disease is here. How many more victims are needed before you take the appropriate action?

Last year I had a tick bite and was one the lucky ones to have the bulls eye rash appear and subsequently was treated in time. If I was able to obtain the permethrin I have no doubt that it would have helped and possibly stopped the tick from attaching to me.

My husband has Lyme Disease and Co-Infection Lyme diseases! What is wrong with you people in not taking pro-active steps in treating this disease and/or steps in preventing it!! This has ruined our lives and the Medical Society has done virtually nothing to help!! When we finally found a doctor in NS to help us...he was bullied out of his practice. Are you deliberately trying to lower our population through death of not just the ill...but the death of their whole family??? .....You or one of your family members has to suffer this to walk in our shoes to understand...or maybe they already are sick with a misdiagnosis!!!!

I am a retired military I have use Permethrin as it it authorize for military use in Canada. I will not stop using it, you can purchase Permethrin as a spray to protect horses it is spray directly on the horses and the composiyion is .5% the same dose has for close spray used by canadian military. Insecticidesold in canada for inside your home also contain Permethrinand the Canadian government aproved Permethrin for use in the food industr.
