Give the people of Shevington the Vote on less Tax

There is no justification for paying more, we all come under Wigan with the same council services

the tax should be the same throughout the borough

I see no benefits from paying more than the rest of Wigan. I want to be given the choice as to whether I make this payment or not. Every year I feel robbed.

Get rid of these self-appointed, self-serving oafs. We pay a premium for fire and police, doesn't have any effect on the gangs of kids hanging around the village centre.

Give us a fair deal

Living in Shevington moor (Standish) we see no benefit what so ever.

This is a disgrace.

The Parish council waste money on creating a closed community for the older generations. The village has great facilities but no thought goes into using any of the land to produce parking. If people can park then more people will use the facilities. The shops would become more accessible brining prosperity into the village and a place people would want to come and shop.

Shevington parish council, only care about themselves, and there generation, nothing for young people, it has become a dictatorship, run by the older generations, benefiting the older generation , terrible waste of money,

I live on Shevington Moor and don't really benefit from anything the parish council do.

About time town councils were abolished. They are just empire builders who waste taxpayers money.They have the effrontery to cal the chairman, mayor.
