It’s extremely concerning that we disrupted both our children by moving them to the promise of this wonderful new school, only to find that they may not have anywhere to go to school if stage 2 is not completed.

Insane that funding departments can reverse their decision! People will have moved house to be in the school zone. People pulled their children out of a pervious school to go here on the previso it would be a P-9 school. This is likely to have adverse effects on the Grade 6a that need to endure ANOTHER move!!!

Year 6 should have their pathway to Year 9 as it was always advertised as P-9. Year 7 should be offered in 2020, Year 8 in 2021 and Year 9 in 2022.

This is extremely upsetting of a parent of a grade 5 child. It is unfair that these children and families will have to transition to new schools next year. Unacceptable

I do not understand how you can open a new school which is P-9 and not give the school the funding required to accommodate the students in Grade 6 this year for Year 7 next year....How can you think that it is ok that these students who changed schools this year due to their parents being under the impression that they would have all the requirements for Year 7 students in 2020? How can you think it is ok that these students will have to change schools again after their first year because funding is not being received where it should be? How are these students going to feel when they are made to leave a school that they absolutely love? How do you think their parents are going to feel if they have to pull their children out of a school that is not only amazing but where their children are happy? Also think of the pressure and stress that you are putting and will put on the parents of these Grade 6 students. It is unfair for the students, the parents, and all staff at this school....every single person will be effected. I personally won’t be effected by this as far as having to move my children but as a member of the school community it does effect me, it saddens me that this is even happening. It is not right! PLEASE give the school the funding they need.

This is a new school and it's already overflowing with children. With 9 Prep classes this year, and a similar number expected nexr year, plus the Year 6 going into Year 7 with nowhere to go, this is a desperate situation and very unfortunate and unsettling for those who moved their children to this school. Just not acceptable. Please address this situation ASAP!

I would like someone from the Department of Education to explain how a government school can be named "P-9", open up in its first year from P-6 and then leave those year 6 students hanging in their first year of high school. Don't give me funding as an excuse, or I'll give you the bill of the emotional, social and financial costs of moving two children potentially three times in three years. Remember what you're the Department of.

My child is currently in Year 6 and we specifically moved to Saltwater to have my son in this school. We do not want to upset and disappoint our children in moving them once again. We are so happy with Saltwater College
