Let's this happen! I work late usually till 11-12 by the time I get out most places are closing down :/ just want to have a good time and blow off some steam with great music after work

I don't think it would increase drunk driving related accidents or make anything less safe in general now that Lyft and Uber are pretty reliable.

This is a good idea. With Uber & Lyft night life is much safer & there is no reason for 2am cut off on drinking. It's very bad for business and not logical anymore.

LA is definitely behind the curve as far as nightlife goes because of this completely arbitrary limit on serving. It's time we catch up to all the other major cities like New York, Miami and Las Vegas.

Why are we behind states like Nevada, New York, Illinois and Florida in this regard? Later call times are good for revenue

I am a graphic designer in nightlife and this would help the business I work for and help protect my job! Our world-class establishment in Hollywood can almost not keep up with artist fees because we are competing with places like Miami and New York where the venues are open much later and can make more money... and therefore pay higher talent costs. California's rules are making it harder for us to keep up in today's global market!

I'm from Europe and seriously can't believe 2am is still a thing! It's bad for nightlife, but also for all kinda business related to it! Bad for business means it's bad for the State and the Country! And most importantly it's bad for the kids going out that get black out drunk in a short period of time! You wanna protect them? Than give them more time to enjoy the night and the drinks they bought. They will pace themselves automatically!
