STOP BIG BROTHER FROM DRAMATICALLY RESTRICTING POWERBOATING ON THE LOWER FOX

I’m a home owner on the river and am opposed to safe lanes, I currently use my kayak Often in the morning and evenings mainly on weekdays.

Creating safe zones will create a very dangerous situation for every boater. Non-motorized boaters know when to safely use the river. Many homeowners on the river have both motorized and non-motorized boats and know when is best to use each boat. Boaters not living on the river need to be educated on how to use the river safely. Creating a safe zone would be unproductive.

Tens of thousands of people buy boats and pay city stickers and boat stickers and are on the lower river. Far more than kayakers.

Stop the new no wakes!

Safe lanes on the lower River has to be the stupidest idea I’ve ever heard.

As a river front and power boat owner, this is crap. Leave the lower alone.

Sounds dangerous for the slower-moving crafts such as the canoers & kayakers. Perhaps the people wanting to make these changes should go out in a kayak while there are wakes coming in from a distance so they can experience first-hand the danger people will be in

How could the home owners and waterway sticker holders not been included in this process. This is crazy. Leave it alone. Many of us have invested heavily so that we can enjoy our homes and boats on this river.

This is the first I have heard about this and it takes effect in 2 days?? Why weren't the tax paying citizens that live on this portion of the Fox River informed of this earlier??? How exactly does this effect power boating on this portion of the river??

We need higher taxes? They don't even have the funding to remove 200 fallen dead trees out of the water in the lower fox river

I have been a homeowner on the lower fox river with 2 boats, a canoe and 2 kayaks for over 25 years. I oppose this plan to create lanes and make the lower river no wake. What should be disallowed on the lower river is surfing!! These boats create huge dangerous Wales that are eroding the rivers edge and homeowners property. These wakes are also dangerous for othe boats to navigate especially if towing a skier.

The first meeting I attended they enforced the thought that they would NOT be infringing on private properties.... I want to hear a lot more. They have some serious explaining to do with honest details. A smoke and mirrors will not be acceptable on our waterway.
